Are you really missing something right now? Anything? Something important or close to your heart or even just a normal regular thing. Don’t pretend you don’t miss it. Let’s be honest, just think about it before go any further.
So, whatever you think might be very important to you or might be just a normal thing that you used to do but are unable to do or live right now and you’re missing it so hard.
Like you always heard that we don’t realize the importance of thing and time until it passed or become a memory. And that’s what the saddest part of life when someone or something that made the memories becomes a memory itself. It really hurts.
For instance, you only missing the roads when you’re home alone and locked. And you only know that you love your Mom only when she’s getting old. This is the truth, maybe sad or unexpected but it’s all that we have. Like you only wanna be younger when you’re getting old.
And the days we’re in right now is itself will become a memory. May be dark or good. That how you got a lifetime opportunity to stay at home, lying in front of T.V to save the world.
Maybe that’s why it is said that realization of something is very important. Means if you’re living your happy time then you must know the importance of that thing in your life.
Right? May be
Don’t you think that if we realize the reality and weight of the time, it’ll be much harder for us? Because Law of Nature says that “Everything we can see or touch, surely dies”. And that’s the universal truth that you probably don’t want to hear or realize.
It’s just human nature. We can only wish for something when it’s not in our hands and wishes never dies. I’m not a philosopher. it is just a random thought that crosses my mind and I’m sharing it with you.
So, those who say that you never realize the importance of time until it passed. They’re true in a way. In fact, you probably never will. You don’t have a choice. Even if you realize and know exactly the weight of the moment, then perhaps you’ll end up ruining it for yourself in worries of the future. I also wish there was some way to know when you’re in your good old days before you actually left them.
Right? May be
Well, this doesn’t all mean that you don’t have to worry about the future. And definitely not in the case of Climate Change. I mean whatever we’re getting right now from nature can’t be just a memory in the future.
Exceptions are always there. Sometimes things are in our hand but the fact is we knowingly don’t realize until it really passed. And I can still say that maybe these things are still in our hands.
I said above that “everything we can see or touch, surely dies”. But you know what? In this case, we’ve increased the extinction rate by 1000 times the normal rate. What we can expect in the next 10 to 100 years? There will be nothing left except memories like the song itself suggest:
Toast to the ones here today,
Toast to the ones that we lost on a way
maroon 5
Our deep condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this Pandemic and environmental crisis. It’s been a rough year for all of us. A lot of chaos is going on in nearly every country.
It’s time that we should realize the importance of this time. It’s a wake-up call. It’s up to us that if we’ll take this as a sign or just leave it until this all becomes just a memory.

Well-written post, Ritish! Often stated as,”You don’t miss the water until the well runs dry.” It’s so true. What you said about growing older is also true. I remember my last hike to a waterfall. My sister stayed with me as I took frequent rests on the way back up the mountain. I had chest pain from undiagnoosed coranary artery disease, which was discovered many years later. Take care. Cheryl

Thanks Cheryl..💜
Am glad you liked it.
Is your chest pain cured now?
I hope it is.

Great words. Covid is nature’s warning shot. She’s only taken our toe this time. Wait till she takes a leg. How will we stand back up then? The stupid thing is we’re the ones holding the gun! Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Yes it’s true. We’re one holding gun and that too knowingly.
We’re not too smart for our own good.
And thankyou for stopping by and sharing your views. ✌
Have a great day 😉

Some great words at the right time. I thought I would share the lyrics of one of my favourite songs: Time by the Alan Parsons Project:
Time, flowing like a river
Time, beckoning me
Who knows when we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river
To the sea
Goodbye my love
Maybe for forever
Goodbye my love
The tide waits for me
Who knows when we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river (on and on)
To the sea, to the sea
Till it’s gone forever
Gone forever
Gone forever
Gone forever
Goodbye my friends (Goodbye my love)
Maybe forever
Goodbye my friends (Who knows where we shall meet)
The stars wait for me
Who knows where we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river (on and on)
To the sea, to the sea
It’s worth a listen one day…
