Wow, that&#039;s actually good hearing from someone who knows Dubai not as a visitor, but as a chapter of life. And yeah, I felt that contrast too, even in a short visit - Glass and big things all around. It made me question my own ambitions. But, I totally get your feelings - that feels honest, not ungrateful. You&#039;d better know when it&#039;s time to step away from the glass and glow. Also, it means a lot that you’re sharing this with your daughters.

					<description><![CDATA[I love how you described Dubai, Ritish. It&#039;s where I&#039;ve spent most of my life and I loved it while I was there. It&#039;s a country that dreams and makes dreams possible and you&#039;re right about how it carries its past along with its future. It&#039;s amazing how Arabs love to sit in the desert or outdoors and watch a football match with all the luxury they&#039;ve created. It&#039;s hard not to feel that ambitious or not to be a dreamer when you&#039;re in that country. And while I love everything the country has done for me, I wouldn&#039;t want to return because I suppose I&#039;ve had enough of the glass and lights.
