Exactly, this kind of discrimination has a deep rooted. Just making law will not be enough because the mainland Indians needs change of their thinking. We have to be United which was the main moto of ours during Independence. But now the diversity is becoming a curse for some areas. We all are one, we all are Indians.

I’ve been reading a lot about this lately and it’s very disturbing to hear stories about people being treated that way in their own lands. They move to metro cities for better opportunities but face racism- which is ironic since we mainland Indians would be victims of racism ourselves when we go out. They are still Indians and people must be more sensitive.
