I agree, racism unfortunately wont ever stop. It may and hopefully get better. But it won't stop. It doesn't seem to matter what your background is, people will always manage to judge and critise you in some way for it. I grew up being teased for my race and I find is absolutely appalling. The funny thing though, is that all the fair women want to be darker and all the darker women want to be fairer ... Myself included . May we all be able to learn to respect each other and live in peace and harmony, where we share each other's cultures etc rather than redicule and degrade them

Not only south indian films in Bollywood also the good looking is the main hero and person with dark or not attractive never get chance to work as lead actor
Somehow we also support them by watching them.
Everyone should get chance and hypocrisy should wound up.

Reg south india films, they take all. BLack boys as heroes, and
Only only fair girls as heroines.
The mindset here is that black is beautiful for boys and white for girls.
If black is beautiful, it must be for both sexes.. isn’t it ? Girls sing songs ” Black is the color I love” Boys always want fair girls. Height of hypocrisy.

You heard wrong about india,,in Indian constitution hindu word included(sanatan dharma,sikhs,jain,buddhist,Christian) and no discrimination is there. And what I mentioned about hindu and Muslim is including the Christians also. In some places you can say freedom of express religion is biases

As a Christian I have heard accounts of bias against Christians in India, as well. (It’s interesting to me that Christians aren’t mentioned in the “religion” paragraph.)

And I think somewhere it’s also depend upon the stereotypes & rituals we have from the ages like ‘black’ symbolises bad luck or something whereas ‘White’ represents for a peace.
This things also need to be addressed.
