Nicholas Winton’s humility makes his story even more inspiring, and it’s comforting to know he lived to see the impact of what he quietly did for so many lives. When everyone stood up there wasn’t a dry in the studio or for anyone watching the programme. He was a truly remarkable, most humble, man and thankfully got the recognition he so deserved.
