As the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve, it’s natural to look back on the past year and reflect on all that has happened. For many of us, the past year has been filled with challenges and difficulties, but it has also been a time of growth and learning.

As we move into the new year, it’s important to leave behind any negative thoughts or feelings and focus on the positive. Now is the time to let go of any grudges or resentment and embrace a new beginning.

This year, like every other, was filled with both highs and lows. However, despite the challenges we faced, there was always a silver lining and that is what matters most. Even in the darkest of times, we can find hope and light.

Many of you may know, we recently experienced some difficult times that required us to take a temporary hiatus from blogging. Unfortunately, I was involved in a serious road accident and my friend faced some personal challenges that made it necessary for us to step away for a while.

During this time, we were grateful to receive such strong support and well wishes from our readers. We truly appreciate your concern and kindness, and it meant a lot to us. We are grateful to have such a supportive community behind us.

This year, we were also thrilled to publish our first book, “Unfold the Stories of Unsung Heroes.” We were overwhelmed by the amount of support and love we received, and we never could have imagined that our book would become an Amazon Best Seller in certain categories.

We are grateful to all of you who took the time to read our book and leave honest reviews. Your support means the world to us. We hope that by sharing the stories of ordinary people with extraordinary experiences, and with your incredible support, we can make a difference in the lives of those who read these unsung stories. Thank you again for your support.

Check out our book here.

By looking back on these accomplishments and carrying them with us into the future, we can start the new year feeling confident and motivated. We can also use these successes as a foundation to build upon in the coming year, setting new goals and working towards even greater achievements.

it’s time to dust off the same old resolutions we make every year and pretend like this is the year we’ll actually stick to them. You know, the ones where we swear we’ll hit the gym every day, eat healthily, and save all our extra cash.

Ha! Who are we kidding?

But seriously, let’s all take a moment to pat ourselves on the back for making it through another year. Congratulations, we’ve survived yet another 365 days of adulting! Time to celebrate with some champagne and a slice of that delicious-looking cake that’s been calling our name all night.

And who knows, maybe this will be the year we actually follow through on those resolutions. Maybe.

Anyways, wishing you all a happy and healthy new year!

Every year I wait for winter to come just because I consider this to be the best season of all. After a long tiring and annoying summer, the breeze air that I feel on my face at the start of November is other-worldly.

Someone said it right, “Winter isn’t a season, it’s an emotion”

winter season quotes

Why do I adore winter so much? There isn’t any specific reason for that. I also know so many of you won’t agree with me here.

As I asked one of you guys- What’s your favourite season? He said, ‘Summertime’. And, it’s easy to understand where he comes from.

I fully understand how summers mean a lot and how overwhelming it is to feel the sunlight on the face, especially the people living in the northern hemisphere. The magic I feel when the breeze air touches my soul might be the same for them when sun rays brighten their life after long and cold nights.

The reason why I started liking winters can easily be understood. As I’m from India, here winter lasts only for 2-3 months and the summertime is something annoying & tiring as per my experience. Honestly, I don’t enjoy it as much as I enjoy other seasons of the year. The high temperature, piercing bright sun rays, and sweat all over the body are enough to make anyone irritable easily.

So all summer I await winters. Because-

Winter Is Awesome

First of all, it’s the cold and foggy mornings. It makes me feel heavenly. I love wandering around in chilly mystic winds.

And, what can be more relaxing than having a cup of coffee in your hand while sitting on the balcony under the benevolent winter sun? It’s too restful.

I love rubbing my hand. No more sweat. A daily shower is no longer mandatory.

Winter is the perfect time to get cosy. There is never a shortage of things you can do in winter like taking an ice bath, having holiday parties, or cooking big meals with the family?

And, who even hates bonfires? Just huddle together and enjoy your friends and family, share those old weird stories and pass lame jokes on each other.

Winter season quotes

That’s the best part about winters. You can sense the warmth even in the cold. The warmth of love. Doesn’t this count as magic?

For magic? Did I mention Harry Potter vibes? Of course, it is the perfect time to live in the ambience of the magical world. All those fantasies seem to come true right in front of the eyes. It’s like you are living the life you dreamt of.

There is magic in the winter’s night. If you don’t believe it, just walk outside and look up at the sky. I bet all your worries will evaporate right there. All those mysteries above in the cold, dark and shiny nights that are waiting to be found.

Light is never as beautiful as it is during the most extreme times of the year. The starlight we get in winter is breathtaking. For those who live in the Northern Hemisphere, have you ever seen the Northern light dancing in the sky? It is beyond beautiful.

Since I started loving winter, I’ve gained a new perspective on it. I’ve never seen snow in my life, only a handful of times have I ever felt temperature below freezing. But if you can see, I still bear that smile on my face in winter as if I’m seeing snow for the first time.

One thing I do get to know about winters is that you may not be surrounded by mountains filled with snow. But winter has something for you all, no matter where you are.

Despite all the Christmas mood, more recently I also got to know about winter festivals like Hanukkah & Kwanzaa. It’s so interesting to know about these traditional festivals celebrated in different parts of the world.

Even after all this, I still don’t understand why we signify winter as a season of depression and loneliness. Call me crazy but I love winter more than any other season.

The list of things you can do to handle the darkness is endless. All we need is to accept and adapt to the cycle of nature.

By saying this, I think I should also start loving the summer as much as I love the winter season. Both have their own challenges and benefits.

The difference between summer and winter isn’t about right and wrong. It’s just a god-gifted nature to us humans. And, we should learn to live with it by honouring the cycle of our bodies and nature.
