Ever since the release of Unfold the Stories of Unsung Heroes – Part 3, the outpouring of love and support has been beyond anything we imagined. From kind messages and heartfelt reviews to thoughtful shoutouts on blogs and social media — it’s been incredibly moving.

And guess what? We even hit #1 on Amazon Hot New Releases on April 10th and 11th. I had to do a double take. Seeing these untold, inspiring stories connecting with so many readers honestly feels like magic.

“On the back cover it is written that “Not all heroes are known. Not all battles are seen” and after turning the last page, nothing could be truer. This encouraging book is compiled of ten incredible stories. My emotions stirred, and I was in awe of the heroes with fearless mindsets to help others. These human beings tested their abilities to achieve what might be assumed as impossible.

Each narrative was moving, but a few that stood out were “Chiune Sugihara, The Japanese Schindler” which tells of how one man provided an escape route for thousands of Jewish families during the Nazi regime. “Chen Si, The Guardian of the Bridge” speaks about a man who prevented many hopeless souls from jumping who saw suicide as their only option. “Babar Ali, The Boy Who Built a School” touches on a boy who believed that education should be a right and not a privilege. Lastly, “Dian Fossey, The Woman Who Spoke to Gorillas” tells of how a woman built a life-changing bond between her and gorillas that she found to be gentle and genuinely social. Joy and sorrow both play a role in every experience – accounts of people who fought against all odds, persevering when moving forward seemed challenging.

Sacrifices were required in order to initiate their ideas. These heroes weren’t wealth or fame chasers, and some circumstances were those that we can only imagine. Their accomplishments, tenacity, and passion to their causes demonstrate the goodness in humanity. I highly recommend this inspiring book.“

“I finished the book last night. There were so many great stories about heroes that most people never hear about. I had heard of Chiune Sugihara, though I didn’t know his name or many of the details. I was very intrigued by the lady who had fallen out of the plane at 30,000 feet and had survived. How amazing is that, and that she knew the jungle well enough to get out. Even more, she made such a great contribution to society afterward.

I loved the guy who rescued so many who tried to commit suicide. The humble king moved me. The boy soldier was amazing. With absolutely no one to raise him, he did wonderful things. Just amazing. I think those were my favorite three. But all of them are perfect examples of heroes and heroines. I also like how international they are. Even an experienced historian might not know about all of those heroes. This is a fabulous and quick, easy read that has been well-researched.“

When I first started Aspiring Blog with my college friend Deepak, it was simply a platform to share stories and perspectives about various aspects of life. But one particular category, Unsung Heroes, struck a chord with all of you. What began as just another section on our platform quickly evolved into something far more impactful.

You welcomed these stories with open hearts, inspiring us to take it further and create something truly special. And so, the Unsung Heroes category transformed into a dedicated book series.

Now, we are just weeks away from launching the next book, Part III of our Unfold the Stories of Unsung Heroes series. And this time, we’ve gone above and beyond to ensure it’s everything you’ve been waiting for. Because your love and support deserve nothing less.

We heard you. We felt your enthusiasm. And we knew we had to raise the bar. So, for this book, we brought in a professional editor to make sure each story shines with the clarity and emotion it deserves. We also worked closely with a brilliant graphic designer to transform our vision into something visually stunning.

But most importantly, our mission remains unchanged: To honor those who dared to make a difference. To celebrate those who chose compassion over comfort, bravery over silence, and kindness over indifference. To inspire the world.

As a friend and fellow blogger of Cheryl’s, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing her dedication to both her writing and her advocacy for the environment. Her love for nature and her commitment to preserving it shines through every word that she publishes on her platform – Gulf Coast Poet.

Cheryl Batavia resides in Florida, a place that has undoubtedly influenced her deep connection with the natural world.

Of all the works that I’ve read of her, I must say that one of the standout aspects of Cheryl’s poetry is her ability to convey profound thoughts in a simple yet powerful manner.

And now her book “Earthly Days” is about to launch soon and I’m so excited, I’ve read a few of the poems from the book that took me on a reflective journey through the various facets of life, love, nature, and the environment.

In “Perspectives,” she beautifully compares life to the natural world and the ever-present need for enlightenment. The poems in this section offer a thoughtful perspective on personal evolution.

Similarly, “Identity Crisis” delves into the age-old questions of who we are and why we are here. The power of questions in shaping our understanding of the world is beautifully illustrated in “Abracadabra!”

Cheryl also explores themes of friendship and companionship in “Among Friends,” celebrating the various ways we connect and support one another through life’s ups and downs.

“Summer Rain” captures a cherished moment in time, and “Just the Two of Us” paints a picture of love’s enduring beauty.

My Personal Favourite

One poem that particularly resonated with me is “Save Mother Earth!”. This passionate call to action beautifully combines the voices of scientists, governmental delegates, environmentalists, and young eco-activists. It is a powerful reminder that it’s not enough to simply acknowledge the environmental challenges we face; we must actively work together to find solutions.

Only then we can make a difference in preserving the beauty and diversity of our planet for generations to come.

In this book review, I just only scratched the surface, there’s a whole lot more than what I described here.

As Cheryl and I eagerly anticipate the launch of her book in just a few weeks, I can wholeheartedly recommend “Earthly Days” to readers of all backgrounds.

It’s a collection of poetry that not only resonates with readers on a personal level but also carries a powerful message. Each poem serves as a window into the author’s soul, inviting readers to contemplate their own earthly days.

The ideas and perspectives that I’ve been holding onto for too long, the same perspective that helped me appreciate the life I had, and my place in this universe. Wouldn’t be amazing if I could allow my mind to turn those perspectives into words and then into a piece of paper within a book?

I know many of you have already done that or might be in the process. And, I’m sure the day you hold that book in your hands, the weight of the book you feel will represent countless hours of hard work, late nights spent refining sentences, and moments of self-doubt that you overcame.

Now, back to the question – what it is actually when you publish your first book? Well, it is hard to explain but I can say it feels like a mix of anticipation and nervousness when you finally hold your dreams in your hands. A remarkable journey that leaves an indelible mark on your heart.

Is it hard to publish a book?

Undoubtedly, publishing a book is indeed hard. It requires immense dedication, vulnerability, and resilience. All the time, effort, money, and creativity you invest seems like a daunting and treacherous journey.

But I think what is even harder is to eradicate self-doubt from your mind. Doubt intertwines with perseverance, testing the writer’s resolve.

Will anyone want to read this?

Will publishers see the same potential that flickers within me?

What if my words failed to resonate with others?

What if my vulnerability left me exposed to criticism?

These thoughts whisper in the mind, reminding us of the vulnerability that comes with sharing a piece of your soul with the world.

But I think these thoughts don’t matter as long as you know that every rejection is merely a stepping stone towards success. It is a test of perseverance, of unwavering belief in one’s own voice and story.

And when that moment finally arrives, when the cover of your book is adorned with your name, you’ll realize that in the end, it is this moment that really matters. The realization that the path may have been treacherous, but it was worth every thoughtful and sleepless night endured.

And as the words touch the hearts of readers around the world, they understand the true power of storytelling. So, is it hard to publish a book? Undoubtedly. But for those brave souls who dare to embark on this journey, the rewards are immeasurable.

My Personal Experience with Publishing a Book

My personal experience with publishing a book has been nothing short of a magical journey. Though it wasn’t a grand book launch, a huge ceremonial event, or something like that. It was all simple.

I never even dared to dream of becoming a published author.

Yet, here I am, with my book titled “Unfold the Stories of Unsung Heroes,”. The first part was released a year ago, and the second part was launched recently, marking another milestone in this incredible adventure.

I can still recall the l the initial conversation I had with my co-author about the possibility of publishing a book. We were filled with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. Countless questions were clouding our minds.

The day the book was finally launched there was a sense of joy and accomplishment, accompanied by a touch of anxiety.

However, as time unfolded, so did our doubts. The response we received from readers surpassed our wildest expectations.

The love, support, and encouragement we received were overwhelming. People from all walks of life connected with the stories of these unsung heroes, finding inspiration in their resilience, compassion, and bravery.

Publishing a book has taught me that dreams can indeed become a reality. Now, I’m onto the next step i.e. a book that I mentioned at the beginning.

Embrace the journey with open arms

To all the writers out there dreaming of the day they hold their book in their hands, you’ve got this. Embrace the journey with open arms, cherish every word you write, and believe in the power of your stories, perspectives & ideas.

What The Book Is All About?

Do you believe in superheroes? if yes, Is he/she any fictional character? Uh! Probably superman or let us guess, is it Spiderman?

No doubt, the act of heroism they’ve shown (on the screen obviously) is definitely praiseworthy.

If you are really fond of these heroic stories and exceptional superpowers that are not fictional but absolutely ‘real’, then we have something for you. Here we will present you the stories of heroes ‘the real heroes’ who are not less than superhuman.
